I blend counselling skills, energy work and years of care to create calm, easy sessions with dogs. My training and lived experience mean you’ll feel safe, seen and gently guided toward real change.

About Us
I started out as a blood nurse and I’ve spent years sitting with people in big, small and messy moments. That taught me how to listen, stay calm and give practical help that actually feels good. Indi, my wise beagle-cross, taught me about slowing down and the power of a soft nudge or sleepy cuddle. Together with other calm dogs, I use simple, playful exercises to help you learn to breathe, name emotions and feel steadier in your body. Sessions are gentle, client-led and practical—so you leave with tools you can use that day.
If you’re nervous, that’s okay. I’ll meet you where you are, with no judgement and a warm smile.
Dogs help us notice things we miss when we’re all in our heads. In my sessions, animals help slow us down, teach us how to calm our bodies and show us how to connect without pressure. You’ll practice simple tools for stress, learn small ways to speak more clearly and build confidence by doing, not just thinking. Sessions are playful and practical, and they’re made to fit you—whether you need help with breathing, handling a big feeling or speaking up more at work or home. You’ll walk away with a few clear tools you can use straight away, and a softer way of seeing yourself and others.
This isn’t training just for dogs—it’s learning for people, with dogs as gentle teachers.
I bring a mix of hands-on care and quiet presence. My Diploma of Counselling and years as a phlebotomist taught me how to support people when they’re scared or unsure. I’ve studied energy healing and run a holistic pet care business, so I work with both mind and body. My approach is warm, simple and without judgement. I use plain language and easy tools so you can use them at home, not just in the session. Caring for Indi in her older years also taught me patience and the beauty of slowing down—those lessons shape every session I run.
You’ll get steady guidance, calm dogs and a safe space to try things at your own pace.

Yes. I work with calm, assessed dogs who are trained to be gentle around people. I always check for comfort and step in if a dog needs a break. Safety and consent are part of every session.
We start with a chat about what you need, then use simple, guided activities with the dog to practise breathing, grounding and communication. Sessions are short, practical and client-led—so you go at your own pace.
Yes—kids and teens often respond really well to canine support. I adapt activities for age and ability, and I always check in with carers about goals and safety.
You can contact me through the website or email to ask questions or book a time. I’m happy to chat first so you know what to expect and can decide if it feels right.
